Behind the scenes
What happens when the event is over and the Photographer has left?? This is where the magic happens. I begin by carefully looking at each photograph and weeding out which ones are not in focus, someone's eyes are closed or any images that do not meet my criteria. Once I have finished this I start the re-touching process. This is the most time consuming and tedious part of the process. What you don't see is the person or object in the background that is not supposed to be there or a string of hair blowing across the brides face. I take out the blemishes, whiten the teeth and remove any wrinkles or mascara running down your face. I spend hours carefully making each photograph the best it can be. I will then send you information to log in to your private gallery and place orders there, or consult with me for wedding albums, coffee table books or framed artwork. Once an order is placed I print your photos with archival products to ensure they last a lifetime. Lastly, I hand spray each photograph with a lacquer finish and hang to dry. This is just an overview of the details that go into my work. Along with my keen eye and ability to capture moments of character and personality, my "Behind the scenes" work is also state of the art. I pride myself in giving each client top quality end results. Move your mouse pointer on and off the image below to see the before and after retouching.
