Stopping time has drawn me to photography since I was a kid. I could look at pictures of ancestors that were taken in the late 1800's and imagine myself living in that era. That really made me think about the family pictures I was currently shooting. How would the portraits of me and my family be perceived by generations to come. I wanted to be able not only show what we looked like and how we dressed, but give some insight to the people that we are. One of the greatest compliments that I can get as a photographer is to hear from happy a client years after I took their family photo. I might encounter them at the grocery store or coffee shop, but they will tell me how much they cherish their images, and how much the family has changed. Since I started professionally in 1988, that means I have watched a lot of families grow up. I am truly honored to have helped them preserve that moment in time forever.

I come to you for your portrait session. I prefer working outside in a natural setting, but can certainly work indoors or setup studio lights and a background if you would like. The best time of day to shoot for environmental portraits is about an hour before the sun goes down. The best way to setup an appointment is to call me so we can discuss the specificcs. 904-285-2377 You are more than welcome to e-mail me as well firstname.lastname@example.org
